Hello, I'm Brie!

Guess you'd like to know more about why I started photography..

Well all throughout high school my girlfriends & I would go scout places to take cute photos for our instagrams. We'd spend all week scrolling through Pinterest looking for cute ideas - planning for our next big shoot. I'd be lying if I said I didn't start to become obsessed with the process. Getting dressed up every weekend to go do a photoshoot, edit the photos & then post them to my feed.

Of course throughout the years, life went on & I found myself just missing a piece of myself.  I tried everything possible to understand what this feeling was - while looking for a new hobby - I had lost confidence, started doubting who I was as I couldn't seem to find interest in anything.. however, God found me in this time & I fell in love with Him. I kept praying & praying for a single answer.. what am I meant to do? Well I got an answer back.

God placed this dream on my heart so heavy that I couldn't think about anything but getting a camera in my hands. I spent hours researching, shed lots of tears thinking it would be too much or almost impossible as a stay at home mom, kept praying confused on why I couldn't just let it go. Well God provided & I finally had a camera in my hands. Everything up to this moment just fell right into place by the grace of God.

So here I am, a year later with a camera in my hands & I couldn't feel more blessed, happy & at peace with where God has brought me today. What is my approach to my work? It's to showcase the beauty of God's work - which is you, love, nature, laughter, happiness.. the art of freezing a moment in time through a lens.. that is what I was missing. I fell in love long ago with snapping photos for friends & seeing how it brought happiness not only them but also to myself.

I feel in my element doing this - just feeling so at peace capturing the beauty that God has made. This life is full of beautiful things, love being the most. My goal is to provide you with the most authentic, pure, true moments in time frozen into a lifelong keepsake not only for you but for your lineage. Don't spend life without capturing these precious moments because your life milestones MATTER & one day your future will want to see how you started & grew.
